Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator

Preferred Search Group is partnering with a top-rated orthodontic practice in Santa Cruz to find a Treatment Coordinator. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a dental office and knowledge of dental procedures and terminology. This position requires someone who is goal-oriented, sales-driven, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

• Greet and welcome new and existing patients, ensuring a positive and comfortable experience.
• Explain orthodontic treatment options, procedures, and financial arrangements in a clear and friendly manner.
• Conduct new patient consultations, including gathering medical/dental histories and reviewing treatment recommendations.
• Present treatment plans and coordinate scheduling of diagnostic records, consultations, and start appointments.
• Serve as the main point of contact for patients throughout their orthodontic journey, providing ongoing support and updates.
• Present and explain financial policies, payment plans, and insurance coverage to patients and families.
• Work with insurance companies to verify orthodontic benefits and submit claims.
• Monitor patient accounts to ensure timely payments and handle billing inquiries professionally.
