We’re currently seeking an Occupational Therapist to join a skilled nursing facility in Sacramento, CA. Sacramento offers a great mix of city energy and laid-back California living, with plenty of neighborhoods, parks, and local spots to explore. Whether you’re enjoying a walk or bike ride along the American River Parkway or spending time in Old Sacramento, there’s always something to do outside of work. Details of the role:
Anticipated start date: ASAP
Salary range: Up to $2,340 weekly
Anticipated duration of contract: 13 weeks
Contract type: Travel, Permanent, or Travel-to-Perm
Clinical Duties:
Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans.
Provide skilled OT services to improve ADLs and functional mobility.
Implement interventions for orthopedic, neurological, and post-acute conditions.
Train residents in adaptive techniques and use of assistive equipment.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to coordinate care.
Educate residents and families on treatment plans and discharge goals.
Document evaluations, daily notes, and progress reports timely.
Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
Ensure compliance with facility policies and state regulations.
Required Qualifications:
Active Occupational Therapist license in the state of California.
Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
Knowledge of post-acute rehabilitation, ADL retraining, and adaptive equipment.
Ability to assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans.
Strong communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills.
Proficient documentation and time management skills.
