Job Purpose:

The OTM Cloud Functional Architect will serve as the go-to expert for driving functional design, implementation, and support of Oracle Transportation Management Cloud projects. You will work independently across multiple initiatives, ensuring technical accuracy, alignment with business requirements, and timely delivery. Your contributions will also include troubleshooting, UAT support, stakeholder management, and delivering process improvements rooted in transportation and logistics best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, configuration, and delivery of OTM Cloud solutions across multiple business initiatives.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into efficient OTM functionality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across OTM modules including order management, shipment planning, rate management, and invoicing.
• Configure OTM components such as automation agents, workflows, custom screens, and dashboards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to design optimized transportation business processes.
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT), issue resolution, and production rollouts.
• Provide ongoing Tier 2 support and ad-hoc analysis for business-critical transportation functions.
• Manage multiple OTM functional projects simultaneously with a strong focus on quality and stakeholder communication.
• Maintain detailed documentation and configuration records to ensure knowledge continuity and compliance.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of experience working with Oracle Transportation Management (OTM), including 5+ years in a lead or architect role.
• Minimum 5 years of experience specifically with OTM Cloud.
• Deep expertise in OTM modules: order management, shipment planning, rate management, financials, etc.
• Hands-on experience with OTM configuration including automation agents, business workflows, and screen customization.
• Proficient in SQL; ability to write queries and extract data as needed.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a structured approach to debugging issues.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Familiarity with transportation/logistics business processes and ability to map system flows accordingly.
• SAP integration or experience is preferred.
• Exposure to advanced OTM capabilities such as LNM, ODA, mobile, and machine learning is a plus.

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required (discipline in Computer Science, Logistics, or related field preferred).
