JOB OVERVIEW

• Job Title: Physician – Otolaryngology (ENT)

• Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent (Employed)

• Location: Hobart, IN

• Service Setting: Inpatient and Outpatient

• Coverage Type: Clinical + Call

• Coverage Period: Ongoing

• Clinical Shift Schedule: Monday–Friday

• On-Call Shift Schedule: Approximately 1:5 rotation across more than one facility

• Call Type: Rotational

• Call Ratio: 1:5

PATIENT INFORMATION

• Patient Demographics: General ENT patient population

• Admissions: Yes

• Rounding: Yes

• Phone Consults: Yes

• Case Mix: General ENT (subspecialty interests encouraged)

FACILITY INFORMATION

• EMR System: EPIC – fully integrated HIMSS Stage VII

• Office Equipment Available: Standard ENT tools and outpatient surgery capabilities

• Specialty Backup Available: Collegial group of system physicians

• Support Staff Available: Nurse practitioner support in both inpatient and outpatient settings

• Reason for Coverage: System growth and expansion

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

• Hospital Privileges Required: Yes

• Credentialing Timeline: 90–120 days post-offer

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Licenses: Active IN license (or ability to obtain)

• Certifications: Board Certified or Board Eligible

• Experience: Open to experienced physicians and new grads

• Other Qualifications: Subspecialty interests encouraged; EPIC proficiency

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide comprehensive ENT care in inpatient and outpatient settings

• Participate in 1:5 call rotation across multiple facilities

• Perform outpatient surgical procedures

• Utilize EPIC EMR system for documentation

• Collaborate with a growing team of ENT specialists and support staff

• Contribute to the expansion and quality care initiatives within the healthcare system
