OTR Class A Solo Driver

We are looking for an Over-the-Road Driver to join our team.

Job Summary:

Drivers are responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods from the Davis warehouse to their appropriate destinations. Class A Drivers transport materials using a semi-trailer truck or box truck and may have to occasionally unload using a liftgate and/or pallet jack. This position serves as the public face of the company and strives to provide customers with world-class service in a professional manner. Drivers are committed to following all safety procedures and regulations to ensure the security of cargo.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Perform pickups and deliveries as assigned
• Comply with all road laws and safety regulations
• Follow specific handling instructions
• Plan or adjust route according to changing conditions
• Inspect vehicle regularly to ensure proper functioning of all equipment
• Notify dispatch team of any discrepancies, issues, or delays
• Keep track of all assigned jobs through Transportation Management System
• Obtain proofs of pickup or delivery and upload them to TMS
• Turn in all hard copy PODs to dispatch team
• Handle freight by hand when necessary

Schedule: Guaranteed to be home every 2 weeks!

Pay: $80,000 - $100,000/year - depending on experience

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma
• Valid Commercial Driver’s License
• Commercial driving experience (1 year)
• Clean Driving Record
• OTR experience preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting on a truck
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at times
