Experienced Technicians Wanted

Our Boat Service is ever growing and we are looking for boat and motor techs.

Monday through Friday some Saturdays full time

This skilled position is responsible for removing, repairing/replacing and reinstalling equipment and machinery components for repairs. He/She must be able to complete and execute the assigned work tasks following regulatory specifications assigned to the equipment. A maintenance mechanic’s responsibilities will include the removing, fitting, examining, testing, repairing, maintaining, cleaning, servicing, and preventative maintenance of equipment and machinery. 

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of experience

Knowledge of Mercury and Yamaha outboard engine repairs

Able to perform routine maintenance on outboard engines - such as oil changes etc.

General electric troubleshooting - bilge pumps, livewell pumps, lighting, etc

General knowledge of outboard boats.

Some skill sets:

Must be able to remove, repair, and install equipment

Must be able to rig parts

Must be able to use hand and power tools

Must be able to do basic math IE metric to inches, liters to gallons

Comfortable working at heights and in small confined spaces
