JOB TITLE: Café Server/Barista  

JOB SUMMARY:  We are seeking individuals who want to work in a café setting serving guests, assisting with coffee, construction of sandwiches and other light food items. 

PRIMARY DUTIES & FUNCTIONS:

· Maintain store cleanliness and appearance to exceed guest standards. 

• Restock items.
• Sales transactions are done on a cash register; this includes cash, card, or room charges.
• Put away any orders, when necessary, as well as fill out order forms when necessary. 
• Provide excellent customer service to guests by greeting them with a smile and positive attitude while responding quickly and efficiently to their requests. 

HAZARDS ENCOUNTERED: Hot cooking equipment, sharp knives can be dangerous if used in a careless manner. Wet or slippery floors and some cleaning chemicals can be hazardous if directions are not followed.

Requirements

Qualifications: 

· Must be 18 years or older

· Must have an open mind while handling customer service.

· Must be able to work alone, without supervision and be self-motivated. 

· Must be able to work in a team.

· Perform duties quickly and efficiently. 

· Must be able to stand entire shift. 

· Some of the time will be spent working actively including but not limited to bending, stretching, lifting and walking.

· Part-time position available, must be able to work holidays and weekends.
