Outlet Attendant

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in the showroom


• Load and unload merchandise into the IST truck.


• Receive incoming Po’s


• Operate forklifts and use the racking system safely and efficiently.


• Assemble and disassemble products as needed.


• Pack up furniture and accessories leaving the showroom.


• Verify all merchandise leaving the store for accuracy and completeness


• Safely load merchandise into customers’ vehicles.


• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized showroom environment.


• Perform housekeeping duties, including cleaning restrooms, lounge, and public areas.


• Make sure all merchandise with Audio is on and playing music


• Ensure all items have a price tag.


• Maintain the warehouse clean and organized.


• Responsible for maintaining the mirrors and frame walls in the showroom.


• Arrange, restock, and replace showroom merchandise.


• Maintain the rug rack.


• Report any damaged furniture and accessories in the showroom


• Responsible for reporting change of location (COL) of all furniture and accessories..


• Responsible for the daily tune up of assigned areas this includes maintaining the presentation of the furniture in good condition, example: beds made, the pillows of the living sets organized. Accessories organized, etc.


• Adjust the lighting to best suit the merchandise.


• Assist with Inventory audits when necessary.


• Maintain cleanliness of the store exterior.


• Assist with the touch up of furniture, floors and walls when necessary.


• Stay informed about current and ongoing promotions


• Escalate customer inquiries to the appropriate team member when resolution is not possible independently.


• Travel to other stores due to business needs when necessary.

Qualifications

• Professional


• Self-motivated.


• Strong organizational and time-management skills.


• Team-oriented but able to work independently.


• Resilient, with the ability to handle rejection and remain positive.


• Strong Communication skills


• Customer Service oriented.


• Ability to engage with customers and establish trust.


• Comfortable using POS systems.


• Forklift License preferred

Education and/or Experience

• High School graduate or GED.

 Physical Demands

• Must be able to lift and/or push storage boxes weighing up to 40 lbs.


• Must be able to climb and walk on a storage ladder.


• Must be able to safely use a step ladder.

Work Environment

This position is performed in a retail showroom and warehouse setting. The role requires regular interaction with customers, team members, and management in a fast-paced environment. Employees may be exposed to varying temperatures, moderate noise levels, and frequent interruptions. The position may also involve standing or walking for extended periods of time, as well as handling, moving, or organizing merchandise.
