The Outlet Channel Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive sales, profitability, and operational efficiency across our outlet channels. This role plays a key part in managing product assortment, pricing, and inventory for outlets, while ensuring an exceptional customer experience and alignment with brand and financial objectives. 

Salary:  $60,000+, Based on Experience

Key Responsibilities:

Channel Strategy & Planning 

  • Develop and execute short- and long-term outlet channel strategies that align with overall company goals. 
  • Identify opportunities to grow revenue, margin, and traffic in the outlet business. 
  • Partner with merchandising, finance, and supply chain to support planning and assortment strategies. 

Performance Management & Reporting 

  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for outlet locations: sales, gross margin, sell-through, turns, and profitability. 
  • Deliver regular performance reports and actionable insights to senior leadership. 
  • Adjust strategies in real-time based on performance trends and competitive analysis. 

Inventory & Pricing Optimization 

  • Own the lifecycle of outlet inventory — from allocation to clearance. 
  • Collaborate with the pricing and planning teams to optimize markdown strategies and clearance flows. 
  • Ensure appropriate product mix tailored to outlet customer profiles and geographic needs. 

Cross-Functional Collaboration 

  • Partner closely with retail store operations, visual merchandising, marketing, and logistics to ensure flawless outlet execution. 
  • Act as the primary liaison between outlet stores and corporate functions. 

Team Leadership & Development 

  • Lead, mentor, and support field leadership or store managers specific to the outlet channel. 
  • Provide strategic guidance and operational support to ensure alignment with channel goals. 

Requirements

 Education & Experience 

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Retail Management, or related field preferred. 
  • 5+ years of experience in retail, with at least 2 years in outlet management, merchandising, or channel leadership. 

Skills & Competencies 

  • Strong analytical skills with experience managing P&Ls or category financials. 
  • Proficient in Excel and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). 
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with a collaborative mindset. 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. 

Preferred: 

  • Experience working in discount or outlet retail models. 
  • Familiarity with pricing strategies and clearance management. 
  • Experience managing distributed teams or multi-unit store oversight.
