Position Summary
The Counselor (LADC or ADC-T) provides direct therapeutic counseling, assessment, and case management services to clients in Progress Valley’s treatment programs. This role supports clients through individualized treatment planning, group facilitation, and crisis intervention while modeling Progress Valley’s mission and core values. Counselors collaborate with the clinical team to ensure comprehensive, person-centered care and uphold the highest standards of ethical and professional practice.

Qualifications
Work Environment & Schedule
Full-time, part-time, on-call exempt and non-exempt positions with rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call coverage as needed.
Fast-paced, mission-driven environment requiring resilience, adaptability, and commitment to client-centered care.
Physical Requirements
Repetitive movement of hands and fingers – typing and/or writing.
Occasional standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
Ability to reach with hands and arms.
Ability to communicate, converse with, and exchange information effectively.
Ability to perform duties involving light lifting and sit for long periods of time.
