Description:
Healthcare United is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified General Neurologist for a full-time, permanent outpatient opportunity in west-central Pennsylvania near Hollidaysburg. Join an established practice with a full patient panel and opportunities to develop your subspecialty interests.
Care for a broad patient population that includes neuromuscular disorders, Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, and migraines. Neuromuscular disorders represent approximately 30% of the caseload. The position is outpatient only with some practice call; a dedicated neurohospitalist team handles inpatient care.
The clinic offers on-site sleep, EEG, and EMG labs, with nearby medical laboratory, radiology, rehabilitation, primary care, and specialty services. Collaborate closely with neuro-intervention and stroke teams while maintaining clinical autonomy within a larger health system.
A regular daytime schedule includes some flexibility in hours. Compensation includes additional incentive opportunities, with earning potential of $500,000. The nonprofit employed model offers comprehensive benefits, retirement support, and Public Service Loan Forgiveness eligibility.
Requirements
• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Neurology.
• Eligibility for Pennsylvania medical licensure.
• Ability to read outpatient EEGs.
• Experience and interest in performing EMG preferred.
• Commitment to patient-centered care and excellent interpersonal skills.
