Outpatient Pharmacist job in JBSA Fort Sam Houston, TX

Schedule: Day and evening shifts

About the Role

We are hiring Outpatient Pharmacists to support high-volume ambulatory pharmacy operations across BAMC outpatient sites.

What You’ll Do

Process and verify outpatient prescriptions
Provide patient counseling on medication use
Identify and resolve drug interactions, duplications, and allergies
Coordinate with prescribers on dosing and therapy questions
Perform medication reconciliation
Support Code Blue response when assigned

What You Need

Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (ACPE-accredited)
Current, unrestricted Pharmacist license (any U.S. state)
Minimum 1 year outpatient pharmacy experience within the last 2 years
U.S. Citizenship
Ability to obtain and maintain DHA credentialing
BLS certification
Experience in high-volume outpatient or military treatment facilities preferred
