Outpatient Scheduling Supervisor

We are seeking an Outpatient Scheduling Supervisor, Hospital Admitting Supervisor or Admitting Supervisor in our Outpatient Registration department. The Outpatient Scheduling Supervisor oversees the daily work of the Radiology Scheduling team within Outpatient Registration to support smooth and efficient department operations. The Outpatient Scheduling Supervisor ensures patient appointments, questions, and concerns are handled in a timely and courteous manner while maintaining clear communication between Radiology and Patient Access.

Shifts Available: Days

Employment Type: Full Time

Hours: 8-hour shift  - Non-exempt

Location: Providence Medical Center – Kansas City, KS

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):

• Supervise daily workflow of Radiology Scheduling staff
• Support efficient outpatient registration and scheduling operations
• Ensure patient appointments are scheduled and managed timely
• Respond to patient questions and concerns with professionalism
• Communicate appointment changes and patient issues with Radiology and Patient Access

• High School diploma required

Additional Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Knowledge of Radiology procedures and medical terminology
• Proficient with EMR workflows, customer service and Provider office relationships
• Knowledge of machines and equipment used in the Scheduling area 

Additional Qualifications That Are a Plus:

• Associates degree or other advanced training preferred
• Three or more years of work experience in an acute care facility or Healthcare practice preferred
• Three or more years of supervisory experience preferred
