Position Summary:

Provides safe, quality patient care in the Peri-Operative and Post-Operative area.  Is accountable for assessing, planning, implementing, and coordinating patient care from admission to discharge.  Will communicate appropriate information regarding patient conditions to those who require the information, including surgeon, anesthesia provider, management, and other staff.  Initiates and participates in patient and family education.  Assess learning needs according to patient's level of understanding and readiness to learn.

Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited registered nursing program
  


• California RN state license


• BLS Certification


• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire or transfer into job
  


• Ability to take On-Call during the week and work some weekends and holidays
