Role: Outreach and Support Specialist-1267

Position Description
The Client seeks an experienced Outreach and Support Specialist to assist refugees and other Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) eligible beneficiaries in achieving economic self-sufficiency and integrating into Arizona communities. Responsibilities include:
-Collaborating with employment and case management teams
-Identifying and partnering with community stakeholders and employers
-Conducting outreach, recruitment, and onboarding for employers and clients
-Traveling to employer sites, stakeholder offices, and client locations
-Assisting with program intake, enrollment, and coordination of caseloads
-Conducting client progress assessments at designated intervals
-Providing case management and employment services, including job coaching, skills development, and employment placement
-Addressing cultural and linguistic barriers to employment
-Collaborating with various stakeholders, contractors, and community organizations
-Providing technical assistance on employment and case management services
-Ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations
-Coordinating resources and cooperating with other departments and divisions
-Analyzing data to track program and client performance
-The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills, along with experience in program development, community engagement, and refugee resettlement.
Skills Required

¦ Assisting and managing cases, establishing and maintaining control over case plans, schedules, timetables, priorities, and agendas
¦ Elicit information and gain insights into clients and their families through the interview process
¦ Strengths-based job development for limited English proficient individuals and those coping with the effects of conflict, oppression, and persecution.
¦ Counseling and interacting with refugee families in the context of the program.
¦ Communicating verbally and in writing.
¦ Establishing and maintaining work relationships with the population served.

¦ Using a variety of computer software packages (e.g., Excel, Word, databases, PowerPoint, Google Suite, etc.) Ability to:

¦ Assist with research, programmatic/fiscal data analysis, and evaluation in generating regular and ad hoc reports
¦ Tracking funding and resource development
¦ Multi-party program implementation
¦ Provide strengths-based employment and case management for limited English proficient individuals and those coping with the effects of conflict, oppression, and persecution; provide culturally and linguistically appropriate services to refugees
¦ Group facilitation
¦ Using a variety of computer software packages (e.g., Excel, Word, databases, Access, PowerPoint, Google Suite, etc.)
Experience Required
¦ At least four years of experience implementing mission-driven programming related to workforce development, employment services, direct employment or case management, or other related fields
¦ “Systems thinking” approach to organizing data, processes, and people, including the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
¦ Fluency in a second language is a plus (please indicate on your resume).
