Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and support a team of outside contractor sales representatives and inside contractor coordinators.
- Develop and execute sales strategies that align with company goals and market demand.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics to drive continuous improvement and accountability across the team.
- Provide regular coaching, mentoring, and training to enhance sales effectiveness and product knowledge.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key contractor customers and industry partners.
- Collaborate with operations, purchasing, and other internal departments to ensure smooth execution of projects and customer satisfaction.
- Identify opportunities for growth and work with team members to capitalize on them.
- Resolve escalated customer concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in contractor sales, preferably in building materials or a related industry.
- Prior leadership experience managing sales teams is strongly preferred.
- Must have the capability to do take-offs and walk houses for trim packages.
- Must have knowledge of window and door selections and how each are used.
- Must have knowledge of the quoting software for windows, stair parts, and doors.
- Strong understanding of inside and outside sales coordination.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to lead with both strategic oversight and hands-on environment.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in millwork, doors, windows, or building products a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in business, Sales, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
