We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and hard-working person to join our team immediately. 

Job Summary: The outside jobs position is primarily responsible for helping crush cars and demoing material with a torch. You will assist in cleaning up the area, checking cars for prohibited materials, and preparing the vehicles for the shredder. This position requires frequent nights out of town during the week, but will be home on the weekend. When there are no outside jobs, this position will be torching in our Eugene location. 

General Responsibilities:

· Ensure a safe work environment for self and others at all times

· Communicate with yard personnel

· Remove and properly store mercury switches

· Search cars for any prohibited items

· Netting cars after they are crushed

· Containing and transferring fluids into barrels

· Picking up debris from crushed cars

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Must have a valid driver’s license

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs

• Must be able to work in all types of weather conditions

• Must be able to work well with a team and follow directions

• Must have good communication skills

• Must have a strong understanding of safety procedures
