Job Description - Outside Residential Glass Sales Associate

Join Glasshouse: We are seeking an experienced and skilled outside sales associate to join our residential sales team, working on projects throughout Dallas and its surrounding areas, with operations based in our Downtown Dallas location.

About the Job: This position identifies, develops, and signs new business opportunities for Glasshouse throughout the assigned territory. They will manage existing residential sales business and secure new business. Maintains positive relationships with existing customers to develop additional business opportunities.

What We’re Looking For

1) At least 1-7 years’ experience in a similar position, preferably in a glass business.

2) Is present, on time every day scheduled to work.

3) Identifies new business opportunities through referrals and cold calling to solicit product and service sales at building sites and/or customer homes.

4) Follows up timely with sales leads generated through incoming calls, advertising campaigns, and other promotional activities.

5) Provides new product information, offers product/service recommendations, and price quotes.

6) Consistently tracks the status of sales activities and follows up with customers.

7) Applies technical knowledge of company products and services to best meet customer needs.

8) Provides excellent customer service to internal and external customers.

9) Resolves customer complaints promptly, suggests corrective actions, and notifies management of issues.

10) Ability to examine documents for accuracy and completeness.

11) Skilled in the use of computers and software, including Adobe, Word, Excel, Outlook, and QuickBooks.

12) Fluently speak, read, and write English, Spanish proficiency helpful.

13) High level of detail to work.

14) Be able to field measure for residential glass such as mirror, showers, glass, etc

15) Ability to read a tape measure
