Job Summary/Description:

Daniels Tire Service is and has been a trusted family owned business for over 110 years!! We are currently looking to add Outside Sales/Account Managers to our established team. The position requires the Outside Sales person to promote the sale of Commercial Tires, Retreads, and Fleet Service to our current Commercial Accounts and to also establish NEW accounts to service.

Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

Make regularly scheduled calls to customers and inquire about their Tire/Service needs.

Sell new tires, retread tires, manage casings and work with Logistics and Dispatch Departments

Canvass a given area for new business and set appointments.

Develop and maintain new local accounts by making cold calls.

Make presentations and proposals to potential clients

Make calls on past due accounts for payment.

Close all open sales orders by month end.

Survey customer fleets and evaluate needs.

Schedule delivery and pick up of tires for retreading when necessary

Maintain a high level of product knowledge stay up to date on new industry developments.

Qualifications:

Must have a valid CA drivers license, in good standing.

Minimum of Two years of experience in the Commercial Tire Sales industry or Minimum of Four years of experience in Outside Sales in general.

Must be willing to go through the hire process which includes but isn't limited to a minimum of two interviews, online Integrity test, and background/drug/physical screenings.
