Outside Sales Engineer

Our team is dedicated to improving lives and safeguarding the environment through our products and services.\n\nWhat will you do?\n\n * Build relationships with key customers and channel partners to enhance long-term business prospects\n * Execute sales plans to meet performance expectations and requirements\n * Review and interpret customer needs on plans and specifications\n * Prepare and present bids and quotations to customers using company price and delivery guidelines while using sound business judgment\n * Collaborate cross functionally with product lines, operations, and other internal stakeholders to provide customer centric solutions\n * Be aware of and responsive to market conditions and competitive activities while communicating such information to product divisions\n * Assist teammates on training Channel on Eaton Products and Electronic Tools\n * Collect, analyze, and utilize market intelligence regarding competitive products, customer needs, preferences, and buying habits to drive data based decisions\n * Provide accurate and timely planning and specification interpretation, quotation, and technical support\n * Plan promotional events and presentations with distributor personnel to promote Eaton\u2019s position, while developing a proven record of achieving assigned sales goals\n\n\n\n## What will make you successful?\n\n * General knowledge of Eaton Electrical product and service capabilities\n * Ability to build trust and relationships with various types of people\n * Ability to anticipate and be proactive on customer needs\n * Ability to leverage internal stakeholders to meet customer and organizational needs\n * Ability to learn and utilize digital tools and proprietary software\n * Technical problem-solving, communication, customer service, time management, presentation, planning, interpersonal and teamwork skills.\n * Understanding of sales processes\n * Bachelor\u2019s degree, with three years experience in industry sales or relevant field \n * Candidates must currently reside within a 50 mile radius of Moon Township, PA to be considered.\n * Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
