Jacob Sunrooms, Exteriors & Baths along with Chesley Fence & Deck are a family-owned company in business since 1977. We offer a broad range of products including windows, doors, roofing, sunrooms, bathrooms, decks, fences, roofing and siding.

We are currently looking for someone familiar with the area to join us as an Outside Sales Professional who is comfortable with estimating as well. This person must be a result driven individual that has a track record of client relationship management. The chosen candidate will need to demonstrate their ability to multi-task during the day while being extremely detail oriented. The main goals of our Sales Professionals are to drive sales, increase market share and enhance our relationships with our clients with positive sales and margin results that meet or exceed our sales goals. We truly believe in honesty and family first as we have built our name on our relationships with our clients and longstanding commitment to do what we say we are going to do. The ideal candidate will be able to represent those values in every interaction they have with our clients.
Essential Responsibilities:
  • Be able to measure, estimate and bid jobs for customers.
  • Understand and follow established procedures for placing customer orders, servicing customers, adhering to pricing guidelines and recommend changes, when warranted, to achieve overall company goals.
  • Demonstrate ability to remain resolute and resilient under stress.
  • Execute our service model and overall game plan to maximize the presence of our products in the St. Louis/Metro East Area
  • Works alongside the Sales Manager to meet and exceed sales targets to achieve maximum sales in assigned territories.
  • Will need experience in problem solving in the building industry and can promptly address customer problems, and when appropriate, forward, in a timely manner, to the appropriate person to resolve the issue.
  • Be detail oriented (this is a must)
  • Provide and report market information/research on pricing and/or customer needs/special requests.
  • Have a goal to see our company sign on almost every fence that you pass by!

Basic Qualifications:
  • Driver’s License
  • Auto Insurance (As a company policy, you will be required to carry $250,000 / $500,000 / $250,000)
  • Sales Experience
  • Excellent Communication Skills (written and verbal)
  • Excellent Time Management Skills, with flexibility (i.e., Making customer calls in clusters, scheduling territory coverage efficiently, and spending maximum time in front of customers)
  • Excellent Organizational Skills, including planning each week, each day, and each call with intention.
  • Previous sales experience with successful achievement of increasing revenue through current customers and developing a new customer base.
  • Ability to follow established administrative procedures, including maintenance of client information sheets/files.
  • Timely submission of credit applications for new accounts, sales plans, forecasts, customer target information, monthly market updates and expense reports
  • Ability to adhere to all company policies/procedures and operate effectively within established budgetary restraints.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2+ years experience growing sales in territory.

Earnings Potential:
 $70k-$200k/yr.

Schedule:
Monday-Saturday - 10:00 am till 8:00 pm (ish) (Friday and Saturday half days)

Work Location:
On The Road (No Overnight Travel)
St. Louis Metro / Metro East Area / St Charles
