Job Description - Outside Sales Representative

Our client's company, a processor and distributor of Fresh & Frozen seafood, Specialty & Exotic Meats, is seeking a dedicated individual for the position of Outside Sales.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in developing new business directly with various establishments in the food industry, including restaurants, hotels, motels, casinos, country clubs, and more. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in the market share within Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho.

[Responsibilities]

Develop new business relationships with restaurants, hotels, motels, casinos, country clubs, white linen restaurants, restaurant chains, convention centers, and corporate businesses.
Utilize prospecting skills to identify potential clients and manage relationships effectively.
Offer menu consulting services to commercial kitchens, including restaurants, casinos, municipalities, and food trucks.
Take charge of hunting for new business opportunities to increase market share.
Operate within the designated territory of Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho, with the requirement to live within 100 miles of the Spokane office.

[Qualifications]

Experience in prospecting, setting appointments, and closing deals with various establishments in the food industry.
Previous experience in wholesale Seafood or Meats is highly preferred.
Ability to work independently and proactively to secure new business opportunities.
Strong communication and relationship management skills.
Willingness to report to the office on Mondays and Fridays.
