Outside Sales Representative

Description

Tibbetts Lumber Co. LLC, a Growing Lumber and Building materials company, is seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative.

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform building material take-offs.
• Compile lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads.
• Travels regularly throughout territory to call on regular and prospective customer to solicit orders or talk with customers by phone.
• Display or demonstrates product to customers
• Quote prices and credit terms and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained
• Estimate date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of production and delivery schedules
• Work with Sales Coordinator to keep account activities up to date
• Develop and maintains relationships with purchasing contacts
• Investigate and resolves customer problems with deliveries
• Attend trade shows
• Other duties as assigned by Manager

Essential Requirements:

• Must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily
• Extensive experience in lumber, trusses, windows, doors, roofing, millwork and commercial hardware.
• Detail oriented
• Highly motivated, self-starter
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to use a smart phone and have general computer skills
• Must have prior selling experience
