Job Overview
As a Sales Consultant (official title: Fire & Life Safety Consultant) for Kitchen Guard of Louisville, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of individuals and properties by providing expert advice and consultation on fire and life safety matters. In addition to technical responsibilities, this position also involves outside B2B sales activities to expand our client base and promote our comprehensive fire and life safety solutions. Kitchen Guard Services started in 2009 in California and is coming to Louisville in 2025. Today, Kitchen Guard is one of the leading kitchen exhaust and deep cleaning providers across the nation.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Louisville metropolitan market.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients and key stakeholders.

  • Conduct on-site inspections to assess the client’s needs and recommend appropriate solutions.

  • Conduct demonstrations to showcase our fire and life safety solutions.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, ensuring their fire safety needs are met with tailored solutions.

  • Set and meet sales targets, contributing to the overall growth and success of the organization.

  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.

  • Protect clients by ensuring they comply with industry standards and regulations.

  • Participate in ongoing safety training to maintain a high level of awareness and preparedness.

  • Problem-solving on-site challenges in order to make recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in the fire and life safety industry or the restaurant industry.

  • Exhibit flexibility and adaptability in dealing with various work environments, including grease or dirty rooftops.

  • Effective time management skills to balance multiple client accounts and tasks simultaneously.

  • Attention to detail in conducting inspections, preparing reports, and recommending solutions.

  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a dynamic work environment.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proven ability to build and maintain professional networks within the industry.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in commercial facility services or related fields preferred.

  • Relevant certifications in fire and life safety or B2B sales.

  • Technical knowledge of fire safety systems and equipment.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Fire Science, Safety Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work comfortably at heights and on rooftops.

  • Physically fit, capable of lifting 40+ pounds and using A-frame ladders.

Salary Range (commensurate with experience)
  • $85,000+ base plus uncapped commission
