We are looking for an Outside Sales Representative!

New Mexico Sports & Wellness is Albuquerque's leading upscale athletic, aquatics, tennis, and family fitness club, with 5 convenient locations. Our clubs support the lifestyles of busy professionals, families, health enthusiasts and those who simply strive to be more active by providing a wide spectrum of unique fitness and wellness services.

What our Outside Sales Representatives are all about:
Our Business Development Representatives promotes and sells New Mexico Sports & Wellness memberships to area businesses to meet or exceed personal monthly goals. Develops while maintaining prospective lead generation system for corporate memberships and healthcare referrals by telemarketing, outside cold calling, club guest passes, walk-ins and member referrals.

Successfully establishing documented agreements with local companies, healthcare agencies, and/or medical affiliations. Collection of corporate affiliate fees from companies wishing to participate in the corporate wellness program. Promotes and engages participation in corporate sales programs including Healthiest Company and Corporate Fitness Challenge.

Responsibilities include:

  • Generating, maintaining, executing individual and corporate sales leads.
  • Assessing prospects needs and helping people find personal solutions through our memberships.
  • Coordinating and managing inside/outside promotional efforts to increase club awareness.
  • Establishing, maintaining relationships with local and national businesses.
  • Networking at all levels by attending local events.
  • Creating opportunities to develop new business and foster previous/current business.
  • Focus on retaining current members and obtaining referrals.
  • The ability to work a varied schedule that includes weekends and evening hours.

What you are all about:

  • You are a driven self-starter with an assertive and energetic personality.
  • You are driven by achieving goals both individually and as part of a team.
  • You have a positive attitude and do what it takes to succeed even when the going gets tough.
  • You are an out-of-the-box thinker and enjoy finding creative ways to attract new members to our club.
  • You have at least 1 year of experience in a commission based/goal oriented sales environment.
  • You have a high school diploma or equivalent (i.e. GED) and a Bachelor’s Degree is a plus.
  • You have experience building and manintinaing strong business relationships with all levels of client organizations.
  • You have outside sales is preferred, however this is not required.
  • You have B2B sales experience required and the ability to work in a fast-paced, self directed, entrepreneurial environment.
  • You have a CPR certification or are able to complete a CPR course within 60 days of employment.

*All benefits vary based on employee job status and including hours worked. 

Compensation: $45,000 - $60,000 annually, includes commission, bonuses, incentives and hourly rate. ($15.00 per hour/40 hours per week).
