Job Description - Outside Sales Representative

Hodge Industrial Technologies is a trusted provider of sales, service, and support for mission-critical industrial compressed air systems, serving manufacturing facilities that rely on operational excellence and minimal downtime.

As an Outside Sales Representative, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and expanding our customer base. Your efforts will directly impact the success of our clients by ensuring they have reliable solutions to keep their production running smoothly.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Prospecting and generating new business leads through cold outreach and other outbound methods
  • Managing a designated sales territory and developing a book of business
  • Running the full sales cycle from initial contact through closing
  • Maintaining and updating the sales pipeline using CRM tools
  • Conducting face-to-face and on-site selling, including customer visits
  • Negotiating, handling objections, and closing deals
  • Building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders

Required Qualifications:

  • 2–3+ years of outside or field sales experience
  • Proven ability to prospect for new business through cold outreach, including cold calling, door-to-door, or outbound lead generation
  • Consistent track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas
  • Experience managing the full B2B sales cycle from initial contact to closing
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems to manage sales pipelines
  • Valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing a sales territory
  • Experience with face-to-face or on-site selling and customer visits
  • B2B sales experience in industrial equipment, machinery, or manufacturing-related products or services
