Job Description - Outside Sales Representative

Hodge Industrial Technologies specializes in selling, installing, and servicing mission-critical industrial compressed air systems for manufacturing facilities. Our commitment is to help customers minimize downtime through fast, reliable support, ensuring their operations run smoothly and efficiently.

As an Outside Sales Representative, you will play a pivotal role in driving our business growth and building lasting relationships with clients in the Dallas, TX area. You will be responsible for managing a defined sales territory, running the full sales cycle, and representing our solutions to manufacturing customers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Prospecting and generating new business through cold outreach and lead generation
  • Managing a defined sales territory and developing strategies to maximize sales opportunities
  • Running the full sales cycle from initial contact through closing deals
  • Maintaining and updating a sales pipeline using CRM tools
  • Conducting face-to-face and on-site selling to build long-term customer relationships

Required Qualifications:

  • 2–3+ years of outside or field sales experience
  • Proven ability to prospect and generate new business through cold outreach
  • Demonstrated success in closing new business and achieving sales targets in a commission-based, quota-driven environment
  • Experience managing a sales territory and maintaining a sales pipeline in a CRM
  • B2B sales experience with strong face-to-face/on-site selling skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience selling industrial equipment or solutions to manufacturing clients
  • Familiarity with compressed air systems or related machinery
  • Strong negotiation and objection-handling skills
  • Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision
