Job Description

Virgo and Aries LLC is now recruiting for an Outside Sales Representative for a direct-hire opportunity with a client organization serving the commercial and residential construction markets.

This position is ideal for an experienced outside sales professional with knowledge of architectural glass or metal products who enjoys developing new business while maintaining and growing existing customer relationships.

The Outside Sales Representative will prospect within an assigned territory, manage established accounts, prepare quotes based on architectural drawings, and coordinate with contractors and internal departments throughout the sales and order process.

Regular local travel is required, and candidates must be comfortable using a personal vehicle for business travel.

Key Responsibilities

• Prospect for new business within an assigned territory
  

• Identify and develop new customer relationships in a hunter-focused sales role
  

• Maintain and grow an existing account base
  

• Generate quotes using architectural drawings and project specifications
  

• Review customer orders with internal departments and contractors
  

• Build and maintain strong professional relationships with customers and industry contacts
  

• Manage sales activities, customer communication, and follow-up
  

• Travel regularly throughout the assigned territory using a personal vehicle
  

• Support the sales process from initial prospecting through order coordination
  

Requirements

• At least 3 years of outside sales experience
  

• Experience with architectural glass or metal products
  

• High school diploma or equivalent required
  

• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
  

• Strong written and verbal English communication skills
  

• Demonstrated ability to prospect and generate new business
  

• Ability to maintain and grow existing customer accounts
  

• Ability to interpret architectural drawings for quoting purposes
  

• Self-motivated and career-oriented
  

• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  

• Professional and positive approach to customers and colleagues
  

• Ability and willingness to travel regularly using a personal vehicle
