Responsibilities

We seek a Road Sales Representative to develop and grow a customer base with efforts focused on maximizing the sale and rental of new and pre-owned Bobcat equipment, attachments, accessories and services within the assigned territory of Bristol County, MA. Ensure that business growth and customer satisfaction are consistently prioritized.

• Maximize the sale and rental of Bobcat new and pre-owned equipment, attachments and accessories within the assigned Massachusetts territory of Bristol County.
• Create, develop and maintain customer relationships and brand loyalty to increase market share in Bristol County.
• Quote and negotiate prices and credit terms, work with customers on financing and payment options, preparing contracts and close orders.
• Meet or exceed individual and company sales goals for units sold and gross profit.
• Provide solutions to customers and potential customers relating to their equipment needs.
• Provide on-site expertise for demonstrations, machine inspections and technical support.
• Maintain industry contact database for designated territory.
• Generate new customers through frequent calls and opportunity visits.
• Transport equipment, stage and load equipment for delivery to customers.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• 2 - 3 years’ experience in equipment, construction or related industry, preferred.
• Must be competent or able to learn to operate all products and models of equipment sold by Bobcat.
• Proven track record of excellent prospecting, presentation and closing skills.
• Must have 3/4 ton pickup truck. Generous truck allowance provided along with a gas card. 
• Must be able to travel with personal 3/4 ton pickup truck in the territory of Bristol Country in Massachusetts
• Computer skills required including proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
• Solid knowledge of sales policies, programs, procedures, products and customer relations.
• Must be 21 years old, have a current driver’s license in good standing, a clean driving record and solid work history.
• Must be able to pass DOT drug test, criminal background screening, and DOT physical and obtain medical card.
• Strong interpersonal skills and self-motivated.
• Positive, enthusiastic and customer focused.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• The work requires sitting, standing, driving, lifting, pulling, pushing, crouching and other related physical activities including lifting a minimum of 50 lbs. assisted or unassisted.
• The work environment includes working outdoors in extreme cold and hot temperatures.

• Highly Sought After Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30 am - 4:30 pm! No weekends!
• Work Location: Check in at Bobcat of South Shore, Bridgewater MA - Travel within Bristol County, MA
• Our Bobcat Locations: Bobcat of South Shore (Bridgewater, MA), Bobcat of Cape Cod (Bourne, MA),  Bobcat of New Hampshire (Chichester, NH and Hudson, NH) and Bobcat of Boston (North Reading, MA)
• Pay: Total compensation includes generous base pay plus commission, generous truck allowance and generous benefits package)
• Benefits enrollment is first of month following 30 days of employment.
