Job Description:
As an Outside Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in expanding our client base and driving sales in the Buffalo/Western New York market. Your primary responsibility will be to build and maintain strong relationships with clients in the food service industry, including restaurants, hotels, schools, and hospitals. You will be the face of our company in the field, representing our brand and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and target potential clients within the food service industry.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
- Understand customer needs and requirements.
- Present and sell company products and services to new and existing customers.
- Develop and execute a strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
- Effectively communicate value propositions through proposals and presentations.
- Provide market feedback to the company leadership regarding competitive offerings, prospect needs, and product development ideas.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and build relationships.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven sales experience, preferably in the food service or related industry.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated and driven to achieve sales targets.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience's needs.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms is a plus.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not required.
