Outside Services

Description

We would love to have you join our team here at MPCC! Our outside service staff is responsible for providing bag, cart, and range services to members and guests. Someone serving in this role needs to be able to work outside, both independently and in groups.

Responsibilities:

• Greet members warmly and provide prompt, courteous service
• Monitor the parking lot, assist members with bags, provide transportation to the staging area
• Bring carts from storage to staging area; check for tire pressure, brake operation, and other safety concerns
• Load bags from storage onto carts
• Service the practice facilities for member and guest use
• Supply score cards and pencils, and advise members of course conditions
• Remove bags from carts and return bags to assigned rack in storage room
• Return and clean carts after use
• Maintain cleanliness and order of bag storage room

Requirements

• Work outside year-round in all weather conditions (light/dark, hot/cold, humid/dry, etc.)
• Walk and stand, up to 7 hours a day on various surfaces
• Lift, push, pull, or move up to 50 pounds frequently
• Work in multiple positions, such as standing, stooping, bending, kneeling, and squatting
• Ability to safely operate golf carts and ball picker (driver’s license required)
