We are hiring an experienced and mechanically inclined Overhead Door Technician to assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial and residential overhead door systems. As an Overhead Door Technician, you’ll be responsible for working hands-on with tools, ensuring proper alignment and function of door components, and supporting your team in delivering top-notch service to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the lead Overhead Door Technician with installing, maintaining, and repairing overhead doors and hardware.
• Load and unload tools and materials at various job sites.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Follow job site safety procedures and assist with team coordination.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and communicate clearly with team members and clients.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools.
• Understanding of basic electrical systems and wiring.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and manuals.
• Skilled at diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues.
• Familiarity with OSHA standards and general job site safety procedures.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift 50+ lbs on a regular basis.
• Comfortable working from heights on ladders or lifts.
• Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
