We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Overnight Carpet Cleaning Technician / Security Attendant to join our team at a large senior living community in Sun City, Arizona.

This position is primarily responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our community through overnight carpet cleaning and floor care. During the shift, the technician will also monitor the property, perform routine security rounds, and help ensure a safe environment for residents and staff.

Position Summary

The Overnight Carpet Cleaning Technician is responsible for deep cleaning carpets and maintaining common areas throughout the community during overnight hours when resident traffic is minimal. This role also performs routine security monitoring and responds appropriately to overnight incidents and emergencies.

The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, physically active, and able to work independently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and professionalism.

Essential Responsibilities

Carpet Cleaning & Floor Care

• 
  

  Perform scheduled carpet cleaning throughout the community using commercial carpet cleaning equipment

  
  


• 
  

  Spot-clean stains and heavily trafficked areas as needed

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain hallways, common areas, offices, and other community spaces in a clean and professional condition

  
  


• 
  

  Safely operate, clean, and maintain carpet cleaning equipment

  
  


• 
  

  Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures

  
  


• 
  

  Identify and report flooring, carpet, or maintenance concerns

  
  


• 
  

  Assist with light housekeeping and cleaning duties as assigned

  
  


• 
  

  Ensure work areas are left clean, organized, and safe for residents and staff

  
  

Security & Community Monitoring

• 
  

  Conduct routine security rounds throughout buildings and grounds

  
  


• 
  

  Monitor entrances, exits, gates, cameras, and alarm systems

  
  


• 
  

  Observe and report safety hazards, suspicious activity, and unusual incidents

  
  


• 
  

  Respond appropriately to emergency situations and follow community procedures

  
  


• 
  

  Complete incident reports and required documentation

  
  


• 
  

  Help maintain a safe and secure environment for residents, visitors, and staff

  
  

Administrative Duties

• 
  

  Answer telephones and relay messages as needed

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain visitor logs and required documentation

  
  


• 
  

  Provide courteous and professional customer service to residents, families, and staff

  
  

Qualifications

• 
  

  High school diploma or GED preferred

  
  


• 
  

  Previous carpet cleaning, custodial, janitorial, housekeeping, floor care, or maintenance experience strongly preferred

  
  


• 
  

  Experience operating commercial cleaning equipment preferred

  
  


• 
  

  Previous security or customer service experience is a plus

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

  
  


• 
  

  Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to lift, push, pull, and move cleaning equipment and supplies

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

  
  


• 
  

  Basic computer skills

  Ability to pass a background check and obtain a Fingerprint Clearance Card
