Location: Monroe, NC – Residential Treatment Center

Transcend ED is currently hiring several PRN Overnight CNA, CMA, or Psych Technician to join our compassionate team at our Residential Treatment Center in Monroe, NC. This is a key role supporting clients in a structured, recovery-focused environment during overnight hours.

The specific role is for a PRN, and the ideal candidate will be able to dedicate a specific day or days to overnight coverage on an as-needed and on-call basis. (for example, if you have every wednesday or thursday overnight available, and can consistently provide coverage if called those days, that is what we are seeking!)

Shift: Overnight 8 P-8A  (dedicated day or days as needed)
Job Type: PRN

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide supportive care and supervision to clients throughout the night


• Conduct routine safety checks and monitor the treatment environment for security and comfort


• Assist with medication administration (for Med Administrators) under licensure and policy


• Accurately document observations, incidents, and client interactions


• Support clients in maintaining a structured routine, including wake-up and morning transitions


• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the facility overnight


• Respond to crises and escalate to clinical staff as appropriate


• Work collaboratively with the treatment team to ensure continuity of care

Qualifications:

• Current certification as CNA, CMA, or relevant experience as a Psych Technician


• Previous experience in behavioral health, residential care, or related field preferred


• Reliable, calm under pressure, and able to work independently overnight


• Strong observational and communication skills


• Passion for helping individuals in recovery from eating disorders or mental health conditions

Maximum six (6) adolescent clients -behavioral health, eating disorders  

Salary: $23 per hour, depending on experience and credentials. Med Administration is a plus (and additionally compensated).
