Overnight Floor Tech 11pm-7am near Gibson and Morgan City

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Full-time Floor Technician to join our commercial janitorial team in Morgan City, LA. The ideal candidate will have experience with floor care, including sweeping, mopping, buffing, stripping, and waxing. This role is essential in maintaining clean, safe, and professional environments for our commercial clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sweep, mop, and vacuum hard floors and carpets


• Operate auto scrubbers, buffers, and burnishers


• Strip, wax, and refinish various types of flooring surfaces


• Maintain floor equipment and report any malfunctions


• Ensure all work meets company and client cleanliness standards


• Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE


• Work independently or as part of a team to complete tasks on time

Qualifications:

• Previous floor care or janitorial experience preferred


• Knowledge of floor cleaning and finishing techniques and equipment


• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor for extended periods


• Dependable, punctual, and professional


• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred


• Must pass background check and drug screening
