Overnight Hotel Security Agent

Description

Join our team as an Overnight Hotel Security Agent and play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our guests and staff. You'll be responsible for monitoring our premises and conducting patrols, and maintaining a welcoming yet secure environment during overnight hours.

Availability:

Overnight Wednesday - Sunday: 11:00 pm – 7:00 am

General Responsibilities:

• Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; and permitting entry.
• Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities, informing violators of policy and procedures, and restraining trespassers.
• Maintains the organization's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Requirements

 Desired Skills and Experiences:

• Must be over 21 years of age
• Must have Valid PSO or Guard Card (PSO Preferred)
• Must have CPR/First Aid certification
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds, stand/walk for 8+ hours, and handle physical tasks
• Strong written/verbal communication skills and calm under pressure
• Hospitality-minded with a proactive approach to guest and employee safety

• The employee will be required to view and work on a computer screen and/or answer a telephone for the duration of the shift (8 hours or longer). 
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Weekend availability

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Security: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

• Guard Card (Required)
