Overnight On Call Associate

FLSA Exemption Status: non-exempt, on-call 

Location: Denver, CO  

Position Overview:  

Women, trans and non-binary people, and their children who seek assistance from The Gathering Place have access to a wide range of programs and services that meet basic needs and support a pathway to stability.? This position directly engages with members and performs operational tasks to support the daily operations of TGP’s various programs to fill gaps in program coverage.

Core Accountabilities:

• Demonstrate respect, cultural humility and knowledge of trauma informed care in interactions with members, staff and collaborative partners
• Engage directly with TGP members and carry out operational tasks for a wide variety of TGP’s programs and services. Programs include, but are not limited to, 24/7 Residential Shelter (Elati Village), Community Access Team, Food Program, Volunteer and In Kind Program, Family Program, and Wellness and Recovery Services.   
• Maintains confidentiality of all members 
• Recognizes and requests support from trained TGP staff when conflict resolution and crisis management and intervention are needed  
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements

Requirements:

• Motivated and self-driven 
• Ability to work autonomously or within a team 
• Organized, efficient, reliable, detail-oriented 
• Must be able to lift 20 pounds or more 
• Knowledge of homelessness, poverty, and substance misuse a plus 
• Current knowledge of, or desire to learn, how to operate a computer and other office machinery, such as a copy machine or printer, as well as office software, such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and other programs 
• Ability to adapt to and be flexible in various work environments and tasks
