Overnight Public Area Attendant

Description

Essential Functions:

• Removes trash from assigned areas
• Cleans stairwells, stairwell’s windows, elevators, etc.
• Delivers per guest requests to proper rooms
• Reports all lost and found items in compliance to company policy
• Ensures all safety guidelines are followed and report any deviations to supervisor
• Assists guests with questions or concerns
• Encounters odors, dust and other allergens. Handle various cleaning and laundry chemicals
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Reports to: Executive Housekeeping Manager

Responsibilities:

The Public Area Attendant is responsible for keeping the general appearance of the property clean and the resort running efficiently.

Physical Requirements:

• Standing & walking for long periods
• Frequent twisting, bending, stooping and reaching
• Regularly lift up to 30 lbs.

Environmental Conditions:

• Odors or dust
• Cleaning chemicals
• Laundry chemicals
