Job Title: Overnight Security Officer 

Schedule:

• Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday
• 10:30 PM – 6:30 AM

Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour
Location: Stamford, CT

Position Summary
The Overnight Security Officer helps keep a healthcare facility safe and secure during night hours. You will protect patients, visitors, and staff, monitor the premises, and respond to incidents while providing professional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Patrol interior and exterior areas to deter theft, vandalism, and unsafe behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas; control access and verify identification as required.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and calls for assistance in a calm, professional manner.
• Support staff with safety-related situations involving patients and visitors.
• Complete clear, accurate incident and activity reports.
• Enforce facility rules and regulations while treating everyone with respect.
• Follow emergency procedures, including fire, medical, and evacuation protocols.
• Use and maintain assigned safety equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Comply with all Securitas and client health and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Prior security experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Ability to obtain and maintain any required state or local security licenses.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, and respond quickly during emergencies throughout the shift.
• Basic computer skills for reporting and email.
