Overnight Shift Engineer

Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled 3rd Shift (11pm-7am) Hotel Maintenance Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of hotel facilities during the overnight shift. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to providing excellent service to our guests.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on hotel equipment, including HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and appliances.

- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from hotel staff and guests, ensuring timely resolution of issues.

- Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify and address maintenance needs.

- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.

- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for guests.

- Assist in the implementation of preventive maintenance programs.

- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and hotel policies.

Skills and Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in maintenance or a related field is preferred.

- Proven experience in hotel maintenance or a similar role.

- Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

- Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude.

- Flexibility to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
