What is PACE North? PACE stands for Program of All Inclusive Care for the Elderly. We are a popular option for individuals 55 and older who qualify for nursing facility level of care and wish to remain in their homes as they age. What does that mean? We care for the elderly daily both at our state-of-the-art day center on Garfield near Hammond during regular business hours Monday through Friday and as needed in their home.

What does a PACE Day Center Manager do at PACE North?

• Provides first line leadership with full employment responsibility for a great CNA team. This includes recruiting, inspiration, training, development, scheduling, performance management, and decision-making.
• Make sure that PACE North delivers awesome service to participants in our Day Center!
• Develop, implement, drive daily, continuously improve, and instill accountability for Day Center standard written workflows.
• Work to and provide Day Center key performance indicators (KPI) and other related scorecard metrics.
• Ensure Day Center compliance with all applicable state and federal requirements.
• Please note this is a full-time, in-person opportunity in Traverse City, Michigan.

Requirements

What qualifications should you bring to the table?

• You should have a college degree or some college coursework, preferably in a healthcare-related field. A healthcare license or certification is helpful but not required.
• We’re looking for

2. Someone who has experience working with different cognition levels.
3. A strong sense of communication, for whom the ability to build rapport, and frame and execute critical discussions is second nature.
4. A calm and confidence-inspiring demeanor.
5. A disciplined standard workflow and results approach.
6. The ability to train others.
