Packaging Helper

 A  leading designer and manufacturer of low voltage electronics and power supplies.

Essential Duties/Requirements:

- Perform production duties such as manual lifting, packaging, taping, labeling and sorting operations.

- Assemble/ line/ pad packaging with appropriate packaging materials.

- Examine and inspect materials and products to ensure that packing specifications are met and products are available and prepared for transport.

- Other work-related tasks as deemed necessary by management.

Physical Requirements:

- Bending, stooping, reaching, twisting lifting, pushing, pulling and moving items.

- Frequently requires the ability to lift and move heavy (up to 50lbs.) and bulky items without assistance.

- Standing for long periods of time.

Work environment: Work is conducted in an indoor production environment; the employee is not exposed to any outside environmental conditions.

Status: Full time / regular (40 hours per week) 

Schedule: Monday - Friday (8:30am- 5:00pm)

Rate of pay: In compliance with the New York City salary transparency requirements, the hourly rate for this position is $16.50 per hour; which may be increased upon successful completion of the 90th day introductory period.
