Packaging Operator 2nd & 3rd Shifts (Lynchburg, VA)

• Operate Equipment Safely: Operate all packaging equipment in compliance with SOPs and OSHA safety standards, ensuring quality checks are performed consistently.
• Perform Maintenance Tasks: Execute daily maintenance routines per the autonomous maintenance policy.
• Troubleshoot Production Issues: Identify and address potential production issues proactively, communicating effectively with supervisors and maintenance teams.
• Achieve Production Goals: Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and maximize uptime.
• Maintain Cleanliness: Keep work areas clean and organized in compliance with U.S. and international GMP standards.
• Document Production Activities: Accurately complete logs and reports, including downtime, material usage, production yield, batch details, and inventory control.
• Train New Operators: Assist in training new team members as needed.
• Other Duties: Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

• Frequent walking, including navigating non-handicap-accessible areas, and occasional ladder use.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related experience in a production or packaging environment.
