Principal Accountabilities:



  • Troubleshoot, operate, and monitor packaging equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency

  • Accurately verify, document, and record production quantities produced and/or consumed

  • Communicate effectively with team members and management during shift handovers and throughout daily operations

  • Ensure all packaged products meet food safety requirements and customer quality specifications

  • Perform routine, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance on packaging equipment

  • Understand, follow, and comply with all safety rules, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment at all times

  • Safely climb on trucks and railcars as required to support operational activities

  • Operate track mobile equipment to move railcars in accordance with safety and operating procedures

  • Perform other duties as assigned to support operational and business needs

Required Qualifications:



  • Must be eligible to work in the US without visa sponsorship

  • Must be 18 years or older.

  • Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)

  • Basic use of a computer

  • Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions, which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)

  • Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)

  • Ability to perform physical job duties, which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without a reasonable accommodation

  • Ability to work overtime, including weekends, holidays, or different shifts, with advance notice



 


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Minimum of 3–5 years of forklift operation experience required

  • Experience operating machinery and/or industrial equipment

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing or military experience

  • Experience in performing routine, preventive, and troubleshooting maintenance on packaging equipment

  • Prior experience working around railcars and performing operational tasks such as equipment access and railcar movement

  • Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), such as SAP

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office  

  • High school diploma or GED, or a minimum of two years of equivalent relevant work experience
