Packaging Specialist - 2nd Shift

The Packaging Specialist serves as a key support role on the 2nd Shift Packaging Team, helping maintain efficiency, accuracy, and organization throughout evening packaging operations. This position works closely with the Packing Supervisor and Line Lead to ensure packaging equipment, materials, and workflow remain consistent and reliable while supporting production goals during second shift.

Key Responsibilities

• Package finished products according to company specifications


• Verify labeling accuracy, product codes, and packaging requirements


• Assist with setup and operation of packaging equipment


• Monitor packaging materials and supply levels


• Maintain organized packing and staging areas


• Inspect packaged products for quality and consistency


• Follow food safety, GMP, HACCP, and sanitation procedures


• Assist with product staging for shipping


• Support Line Leads and supervisors with packaging workflow


• Communicate packaging or equipment issues promptly

Qualifications

• Manufacturing, packaging, or food production experience preferred


• Strong attention to detail and accuracy


• Mechanical aptitude helpful


• Ability to follow procedures and instructions


• Dependable and team-oriented


• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds


• Ability to stand for extended periods


• Ability to work in refrigerated production environments


• Ability to perform repetitive packaging tasks

Schedule:

• Monday -Friday: 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm


• Some overtime is required
