Description

Van Compass LLC, located in Rathdrum, ID, specializes in Mercedes Sprinter and Ford Transit suspension systems and exterior accessories. We are expanding our team and seeking reliable individuals for the position of Packaging Technician. This role requires working in a warehouse/manufacturing environment, including packaging finished goods, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, and adhering to health and safety regulations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Prepare finished goods for shipping by wrapping with dunnage
• Construct corrugated boxes for packing finished goods
• Kit finished goods into boxes
• Inspect products to ensure they meet company standards
• Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse space
• Communicate any issues or problems to management
• Follow all health and safety regulations
• Maintain a clean, organized work area
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Hours M-TH 7-5:30

Requirements

Preferred Education and Experience: 

• Prior experience in a warehouse environment is preferred, but not required
• Familiarity with forklift and pallet jack operation
• Ability to work independently and with others
• Capacity to stand for 10-hour shifts and lift up to 50lbs
