Packaging Technician

The Packaging Technician is responsible for producing and packaging various beverage products. This role ensures a clean and safe work environment, inspects products for quality, and assists with packing, quality control, and assembly.

Responsibilities

• Construct and label boxes, trays, and cartons.
• Inspect products and packaging for defects.
• Pack and label finished items for shipment or storage.
• Clean and sanitize the work area, following food safety guidelines.
• Apply product labels and box products according to processes.
• Efficiently arrange products on pallets.
• Work collaboratively with the team.
• Meet or exceed daily packaging quotas.
• Record product, packaging, and order information.
• Maintain a positive attitude and be open to feedback.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Previous packaging, assembly, or manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Must be able to follow English instructions (verbal and written).
• Ability to perform basic visual quality inspections.
• Ability to keep pace with other team members.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

This is a fast-paced manufacturing environment with frequent interruptions and noise. You should be able to:

• Stand for extended periods (75% of the time).
• Perform repetitive tasks.
• Lift up to 50 pounds at a time, and move objects up to 75 pounds with or without assistance.
• Work in varying temperatures (35-40 degrees Fahrenheit and 75+ degrees Fahrenheit).
• Be exposed to a damp environment, airborne particles, and chemicals.
• Climb ladders multiple times per shift.

Work scheduled shifts, including M-F 8-hour shifts, weekends, and occasional overtime.
