Packer, AFC

Position is responsible for fulfilling customer orders by arranging inventory in the most space-efficient way, accurately and efficiently, while ensuring goods have met Fluke’s standard of quality inspection. Packers must also make note of any special customer or product considerations, and labeling requirements for fragile or dangerous goods.   

Responsibilities: 

• Build packaging for shipment using assigned methods, boxes and or pallets
• Accurately pack according to customer order
• Ensures all packages meet warehouse standards after packing; no visible damage, boxes securely closed, address labels affixed and not obstructed
• Operates computer and scanners using customer database
• Ensure packaged orders are placed in correct area for outbound shipment processing
• Maintain organization and cleanliness in designated work area
• Follows all safety protocols 

Qualifications:

• High school diploma / GED
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
• Position requires standing for an 8-hour or longer shift
• Flexibility to work overtime
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to follow verbal and written instruction
• Strong communication skills
• Must work effectively with team members

Pay Range
The salary range for this position (in local currency) is 34,300.00 - 63,700.00
