Job Summary/OverviewThis role will primarily build custom shipping crates for products being shipped.You will use a saw to cut material and a nail gun to construct the crate.Essential Duties and Responsibilities This position will work within the shipping and receiving department. Perform picking/packing/shipping functions. Identify conveyors and associated parts to measure for packaging. Cut wood and build crates & skids for the conveyors and associated parts. Other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, Competencies, and Abilities Basic computer, measurement, and math skills. Ability to lift/lower/push/pull up to 40 lbs. safely. Strong communication skills for dealing with co-workers and management. Self-directed with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects at once.
