Position Summary

Perform duties to inspect for accuracy, pack and case like sets of products according to manufacturing and customer specifications. Safely performs position specific responsibilities to ensure a high level of productivity, quality and internal and external customer service while adhering to all relevant company policies and procedures. Identifies and recommend process improvements to streamline and increase efficiency of existing programs.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities

• Work from written and verbal instructions and communicate effectively with all co-workers
• Ability to read, understand and follow production schedules
• Pack products according to established packing procedures; inspect for quality, pattern and randomicity
• Check labels or tags for accuracy; insert literature
• Exercise proper care in the use of tools, equipment, and materials
• Detect and report faulty equipment, defective material, improper operations, and unusual conditions to supervision
• Observe all prescribed safety rules and regulations and maintain work area in a neat and orderly condition
• Perform other duties as assigned 

Requirements

Experience and Education

• High school diploma / GED equivalent

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. comfortably and regularly

Other Skills/Abilities:

• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Must be flexible. Willing to work on different production lines throughout the course of a day
• Detail oriented and quality conscience
• Able to work independently as well as in a team
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to accept responsibility for work performance
• Must be open to overtime
